First Grade is One Hundred Day Smarter!
First grade is 100 days smarter and they celebrated PIRATE style! They celebrated the number one hundred and all the wonderful things they have learned so far this year! They did 100 pirate exercises, like “walk the planks” and the “sea sick shake” for a total of 100 exercises! They created pirate hats and wrote about themselves as 100 year olds and pirates! They were so excited to have a celebration and can’t wait to celebrate the rest of the year together in first grade!
New Garden’s Spring Book Fair
“The more you read, the more you know.”
Students always love going to the book fair, and to nurture this love, the New Garden Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) gave every student $5 towards any book. Every student had a great time choosing their book.
New Garden Celebrates Friendship Day
New Garden faculty, students and staff are one big, happy family. What better way to celebrate this than by wearing red, white and pink.
