Please read this important message from Mrs. Weaver.
Dear New Garden Family,
This is Ms. Weaver, your proud principal of New Garden! As we have completed 21 days of school I wanted to share a recap of the last few weeks. First and foremost, the staff has adopted the theme, of Team NG, One Team, One Dream… and we are so happy to be walking this journey with you. Another observation by the entire staff it’s business as usual- OUR children are resilient, OUR children are engaging in learning, OUR children are thriving as they have embraced the changes that had to be put in place to keep them safe! THEY are growing academically, socially and emotionally. The beginning of the year has been focused on building relationships, setting expectations, reviewing school and class rules, taking benchmark assessments, and diving into instruction. Some highlights include the beginning or preparation for instrumental lessons, chorus, and Reading Olympics. In addition, many of our PE and Health classes have taken place outside. Walking into the building every day, one can just feel the renewed energy and excitement that can only come from our elementary school community!
