December’s Spirit Day Activities
December will be remembered at New Garden for its seven day Spirit Day activities. Some of the activities were “Holiday Sweater Day,” “Flannel/Plaid Day,” and “Candy Cane Day” just to name a few. There was a lot of participation amongst the grade levels.
New Garden Students Get Long Awaited Snow
New Garden students saw something on Thursday, December 17 that they have not seen in almost two years. Guess what that was? It was snow. The meteorologists predicted a snow storm that would blanket Chester County with more than a half a foot of the white, fluffy, powdery stuff. Since all students now have access to technology, school was not cancelled. Therefore, during breaks, lunch and after online learning, students went outside to enjoy the new fallen snow. The pictures below are a small portion of how New Garden students enjoyed their first snow of the season.
