Dear New Garden Families:

We are working hard to keep kids reading and raise critical funds for our school with our Scholastic Online Book Fair from November 9-November 22.

The Scholastic Book Fair is back! While the Fair will be exclusively held online this year, we still plan on making it a fun and joyous experience for our kids. Features include:

  • New Garden’s own online store, with a large selection of titles, at the right price points
  • A Virtual Fair so you and your kids can experience the magic of the school shopping experience. Browse titles by grade, meet popular authors, and discover the comfort and joy of our Fair
  • Every dollar you spend will benefit our school directly (25% back in rewards!)

Since we all can’t physically be together for our staff picture, Mr. Troy Harris and Ms. Erika Smith decided to ask all the faculty and staff to create a Bitmoji of themself to compile a New Garden staff picture. New Garden’s Virtual Spirit Week

New Garden recently held its first Virtual Spirit Week during virtual learning. It was an exciting week for all and the students enjoyed the activities. Students came to virtual learning wearing their favorite hats, crazy socks, dressed like their teacher, pajamas and in their New Garden attire.

On Monday, October 26th, lots of happy students walked through the doors of New Garden Elementary School for the first time in several months and several students opted to continue with the Kennett Virtual Academy. In either case, it was one step closer to returning back to normal at New Garden.
