Fifth Grade Visits The Museum of the American Revolution

New Garden Elementary School fifth grade students took a trip to the Museum of the American Revolution recently as a culminating activity to their study of the American Revolution. According to the museum’s website, “From the early stirrings of colonial unrest in the 1760s to the decisive Patriot victory at the siege of Yorktown in 1781, the stories told throughout the Museum of the American Revolution offer a dynamic look at the nation’s founding era.” Students received a guided tour through the exhibits and each exhibit complemented their classroom study. It was the first time many of the students visited the museum and many expressed an interest to return again in the near future. Information about the museum can be found at .
